One day if my OTP admit that they’re really in love with each other.
I will:
- Print all their lovely photos and make an album and send it to them.
- Burn a CD which has songs that reminds me about their love and send it to them.
- Translate my fanfics to English/Japanese => print/bind to a book and send it to them.
- Make a fanvid, burn to DVD and send it to them.
- Buy a ticket => Fly to Japan => Meet them, hug them, cry and say : “Why you two make me wait so long ;____;? I’m so happy for you.”
Reality: they haven’t hug each other yet. T___T Ok, I’m still saving for the fly ticket.
Thinking about making a Sakumoto facts tumblr.
Last year I collected Sakumoto facts from many sources, translated to Vietnamese and posted in my LJ. About > 116 facts now.
I also have English version but it needs editing. I already sent it to a Sakumoto fan but she didn’t send it back to me. And I was really busy so I couldn’t do anything.
Now when the semester ends I think I have more time. Anyone wants to help me edit it? Because my English is not good enough and many facts I translated from Japanese to English =__=. If you love Sakumoto and want to help, please contact me. My ask box is open.

Sakurai: At this point, with the increase of people who know us, and the people who support us, I think the image of Arashi in each person’s minds are extremely varied. —-
Yes, that is true.
Sakurai: Depending on which aspects they like, or which parts they’re looking at, I think it’s different for everybody. This might be different from what we we’ve just talked about, but Matsujun added a song called “Dekirudake” to the list of encores for our tour in 2009. Part of the lyrics go: “Why are we afraid of change / when we laugh at things that never change?” and I think that’s exactly it. It’s not that we particularly want to change, but I personally want Arashi to be a group that keeps on going without being afraid of things changing. If you were to ask why, that would be because everyone sees Arashi differently. It’s difficult to keep on matching up with any one person’s image of Arashi, after all. I’m sure Matsujun also had his own reasons for adding the song [T/N: to the set list], but there’s something about the lyrics for “Dekirudake” that I really identify with.

Fandom – Understanding Media Production and Consumption in the Digital Age
This course will examine the history and theoretical consideration of fandom and interrogate the status of the production/consumption binary in the era of networked, digital communication. Readings will focus on critical and cultural approaches to fandom and will examine case studies relating to music festivals, comic cons, film exhibition, fan fiction, “vidding,” professional sports, tourism, and other forms of regular, emotional involvement. Students will gain insight into the changing nature of the relationship between media institutions, talent, and audiences in the context of Web 2.0 and will be able to apply this knowledge to both academic and professional practice.
It’s so cool! I want to take it. I thought it’s a 1 day seminar but it’s really a course O___o, for graduate student. But it’s not my major :((((. Why I’m not in Mass Communication.
I’m sure that if I take this class, I would never skip class and I can contribution a lot based on my own fangirl experience LOL.
How I wish they have a one day seminar about fandom so at least I can come and hear >.<

In my fangirl life, I always try to do right things so people won’t say “See, her idols are like that so she’s not better”.
I also understand that my idols are not perfect, they are human (that why I love them LOL )
But sometime I think maybe I also love them so much that I really don’t care about their imperfect images. I accept that they have bad sides (as long as it’s acceptable )( I also have bad side :)) )
So in the end of the day, I may laugh at their imperfect sides but still love them as they’re.
Am I doing it right?
